I want to know where there’s a place where I can just pick up motorcycle frames, maybe with or without other bits attached (say like a wreck recovery or something). I’m specifically looking for a Suzuki TU250x frame and maybe a Bonnie frame or a Royal Enfield frame. I’ve looked on local Craigslist but with no such luck, maybe if I had an idea of where busted motorcycles go to die (besides Craigslist).

You get one free inside every full motorcycle you purchase.

Remember to pick it up with your legs, not your back

Or how about just going to the OEM and getting a new one?

Not sure where you are but there is a big motorcycle scrap yard just outside of the Twin Cities, Jordan MN, Sportwheels is the name of the place. Not sure exactly what they have, but they’ve got a lot of bikes.

Your question made me wonder... is there a motorcycle version of www.car-part.com?
Well www.motorcycle-part.com and www.bike-part.com are not active businesses. Here is a list of cycle salvage yards someone put together a few years ago:
http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/archives/showt…
And for Royal Enfield and old British bikes, these sites look like a good place to start:
http://www.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/frames-frames
http://www.burtonbikebits.net/frames.htm
